Character Builder

Section titled “Character Builder”

The Character Builder lets you create unique animated characters tailored to your brand and story. Customize every aspect from appearance to clothing to expressions.

Getting Started

Section titled “Getting Started”
  1. Open your project in the Glintia editor
  2. Click the “Characters” tab in the left panel
  3. Select “Create New Character” at the top
  4. The Character Builder window will open

Customization Options

Body Type

Section titled “Body Type”

Choose from various body types to match your character’s role:

Standard adult proportions for business and casual characters

Facial Features

Section titled “Facial Features”

Customize your character’s face:

  • Eyes: Shape, color, and style
  • Nose: Various shapes and sizes
  • Mouth: Different styles for different moods
  • Hair: Styles, colors, and accessories

Clothing

Section titled “Clothing”

Dress your character appropriately:

  • Business attire
  • Casual wear
  • Uniforms (medical, construction, etc.)
  • Custom colors to match your brand

Animations

Section titled “Animations”

Each character comes with pre-built animations:

  • Idle: Standing, sitting, thinking
  • Actions: Walking, waving, pointing, typing
  • Expressions: Happy, sad, surprised, confused
  • Gestures: Thumbs up, clapping, shrugging

Saving Your Character

Section titled “Saving Your Character”
  1. Click “Save Character” when you’re done customizing
  2. Give your character a name
  3. Choose to save to “My Characters” for reuse
  4. Your character is now available in all your projects

Best Practices

  1. Keep it simple: Characters with clean designs animate more smoothly
  2. Match your brand: Use consistent styles across your videos
  3. Consider your audience: Formal characters for business, friendly characters for education
  4. Test animations: Preview how your character looks with different animations
